The first run of the year, the westbound train at Talybont, a few miles west of Bangor.

Sat October 7: 37 059 and 37 069


This looks like an action shot, but it isn't.


And this one isn't in the wrong order. The ensemble surprised us by stopping in the up centre road. Then the shunting signal moved and the train reversed into Belmont tunnel to gain the down line.


It was then recessed to allow the water cannon compressor to cool.
