Rail Head Treatment Train 2006

Thu October 12: 37059 and 37218

I cycled through the University botanical gardens at Treborth, a couple of miles west of Bangor, for the outward run. The overbridge is guarded by metal mesh which is just coarse enough to accept a compact camera lens... but no use for an SLR lens.

The other side of the bridge, as the water cannon make for the section across the Britannia Bridge, which was singled in the early seventies. This is the only single track section of the North Wales Coast line.

The return working passes Bangor signalbox.

Into Bangor tunnel and away.
