55 019 Royal Highland Fusilier cruises through Bangor with the
DPS tour on Saturday 13th May 2000
I returned for the homeward trip. Luckily for the photographers, 55 019
was held to allow the 16:22 Bangor to Crewe service to get away. Our subject
is seen here drawing up to the signal.
55 019 waited here for five minutes before getting the green
Finally the eight coach train gets the go ahead and is swallowed up by Bangor
tunnel
The production deltics were originally two-tone green but the exhaust has
always been blue
