Green Express to York

17th April 2006

The Green Express tour from Llandudno Junction to York and Scarborough on Easter Monday was a good opportunity to meet my parents and brother for a drink and watch York City play Halifax Town. At the crack of dawn, the driver prepares to leave. The 57 is unfortunately leading.

Just my luck! I alighted at York and 47 826 Springburn took over for the run to Scarborough.

Why Sheila?

The 57 was leading once more as it arrived from Scarborough and continued all the way, so zero 47 haulage for me. The football was rubbish too, but I enjoyed the beer, and the outward journey through the Peak District.
