Rowan and I had to collect my daughter from Bangor station as she was to spend
Christmas with us. We were very surprised to see 37 401 Mary Queen
of Scots languishing in the siding with engines shut down. We assumed
there'd been a failure.
Not so! Sarah alighted from a 175 then just as we were about to leave, 37
401 burst into life. To Sarah's displeasure, we returned to admire the
run-round in the siding. 37 401 is now ready to push the stock into
Belmont tunnel.

And then draw forward into platform 1 for the passengers to board.

This service should have started from Holyhead at 18:25. This turned out to
be the last class 37 run round at Bangor before regular services ceased on
30th December but the standby diagram ran round on 18th January.
