Pendolino drags

One of Virgin's more bizarre ideas was to drag Pendolino electric units along the coast. 57 314 is seen here bringing the morning departure from Euston into Bangor on 13th June 2005

After British Rail's single-manning tussles with the unions several decades ago, it's ironic that these drags require a driver in the Pendolino as well as the 57!
