47 799 Prince Henry arrives bang on time. 175 010 which
had formed the 08:19 from Crewe is about to leave as the 10:06 Bangor to Llandudno.
I circumvent the blocking off of the west side of platform 1 by diving into
the car park, standing in a large puddle and leaning over the fence. Prince
Henry is about to be detached.
Having run into Belmont tunnel 47 799 starts its run round, gleaming yellow
end shining off the highly polished dark blue paintwork of this magnificent
looking train.
