Railtour to Porthmadog

15th April 2006

37 425 crosses the cob on the approach to Porthmadog station.

A brisk walk took me back to the station in time to see the run-round.

425 pushed the stock into the siding to await the return journey. This locomotive was well known on the North Wales Coast in Regional Railways livery and named Concrete Bob. After withdrawal it was reinstated to enjoy a new life in BR large logo blue and named Pride Of The Valleys/Balchder y Cymoedd.
