It was a grey day so I decided I may as well reduce my photographs to monochrome!
We caught a unit to Crewe in time to see 37 425 arrive amid
a scrum of railfans.
We joined the long queue for the special buses and entered the arena. The
electric locomotives were the first we encountered, here is the unique and
rather odd looking class 89
