Ballina and Inchicore

The main purpose of this trip was the Irish Railway Record Society (IRRS) tour of Inchicore works but we stayed for two nights to allow us to ride the Fridays Only to Ballina and hopefully the Westport on Sunday.

Our first sight of interest was 076 bringing the 08:55 from Sligo into Connolly.

After 173 had removed the stock, 076 could run back to the shed

Having seen the only interesting service currently running into Connolly, we popped over to Heuston. 213 was in charge of the 14:30 to Galway.
