My route home starts from the University of Wales Bangor computing lab in the city centre with a stiff climb up the incredibly steep Lon Pobty. Around the corner from the summit is a fantastic view of Penryn Castle, now owned by the National Trust, the Menai Strait and the Snowdonia foothills.
