Dublin to Carrick on Shannon

Cycling the Kingfisher Trail across the Northern Ireland border, provided a opportunity to see some of the Irish Rail or Iarnrod Eireann (IE) network. There is plenty of loco hauled trains in Ireland but there are being replaced by units in the future.

12:43 - ... and heading back to the depot


12:48 - 073 backs into the 13:25 to Sligo


12:49 - 224 has arrived from Belfast (left) and 073 on the Sligo which I caught to Carrick
