One of the most interesting loco-hauled trains in the summer of 2004 was the 08:35 London - Holyhead and 13:23 return. The operation involves a loco change at Crewe and run-round at Holyhead. Only a mouth later Voyagers came in so I rode this train today. 47826 was a Scottish loco before becoming part of the Cross Country pool in the early 90's until 2002.
