Class 47s on Virgin Trains in Summer 2005

Due to the shortage of Voyagers, Pendolinos and Class 57s caused by summer holiday trains and engineering work, Virgin had occasionally returned Class 47s and Mark 3 along the North Wales Coast at weekends after being finished with.
