Engineering Work at Bangor and Penmaenmawr

There is a lot of engineering work going on in the summer of 2004 for Virgin's Crewe & Stafford upgrade. The North Wales Coast is no exception as clearance needs to be done for Pendolinos. Trains were replaced by buses between Holyhead and Rhyl for today.


31190 Gryphon is stabled at Bangor station all weekend with the Network Rail train 31106 Spalding Town is at the other end


Corus livered 60033 Tees Steel Express at Bangor station

66203 is stabled under the bridge


The track is being lowered under the bridges to allow for Pendolinos
