09:46 - On Monday 5th July I took the chance of a ride. I was surprised that the
locomotives were turned round, so Police 47829 arrives at Bangor with
1A49 09:20 from Holyhead

I got off this train at Prestatyn
I went over to the footbridge to watch 47197 departing to the distance
13:17 -
I caught the 1D87 11:38 to Holyhead (08:35 from London) behind 47805
seen running round at its destination 20 minutes late. The turnaround was very
quick for a 13:23 departure
14:00 - I got off this train at Bangor. These fine trains will be replaced by new units
in September. Yuk!
