Pendolinos & Class 57s on the Coast

No loco-hauled trains operates on the North Wales Coast anymore apart two Class 57-hauled Pendolinos per day. In fact it is a loco dragging an EMU on a non electrified line which is one of Virgin's many daft ideas. They have been a lot of failures with the coupling.

This EMU looks out of place at Bangor.


The 14:14 from Holyhead arrives at Llandudno Junction with 57309 Brains in charge of 390004 Virgin Scott into on a rainy 5 July 2005. Next stop is Chester, then Crewe where the 57 will be removed.
