Having heard about Voyagers and Pendolinos being introduced on the North Wales Coast next year, I fancied a ride behind a Virgin 47 before the end of this summer timetable.
I caught the 09:18 from Bangor to Crewe (08:51 ex-Holyhead) which was 175109+175008, this forms the 11:25 back to Holyhead

11:53 - 87027 Wolf of Badenoch with a service to Northampton (Euston closed
due to Crewe & Stafford upgrade)

12:02 - 47635 The Lass O' Ballochmyle looking good in its large logo livery

12:09 -
The view of the depot, 37408 Loch Rannoch (right), 47773 The

12:36 -
